Belly Dancer - ShahrazadAlmost since Les Babouches opened its doors, we’ve had the pleasure of presenting belly dancer Shahrazad every Friday and Saturday night, for two fabulous shows each night. Shahrazad thrills with her performance of "raks sharki," the traditional style of belly dance. Her dazzling smile, talented dancing, and brilliantly colorful costumes make for an unforgettable show. Shahrazad’s specialty is performing complicated shimmies and hip rolls while balancing a sword on her head! If you like what you see, don’t forget the traditional Arab way to tip the belly dancer: walk up to her and “shower” her with paper money.
